Chedworth EU Referendum Debate Results
Very enjoyable EU Referendum Debate in our Village Hall tonight, with 70 people attending from the village and elsewhere.
We took a poll before and after the debate.
- Before the debate 44.6% said that their voting intentions were to Remain, 40% to Leave and 15.4% were Undecided.
- After the debate 45.7% said that their voting intentions were to Remain, 45.7% to Leave and 8.6% were Undecided.
So close! Many thanks to all involved and for everyone who came along! Special thanks to the Chedworth Society for their support of the event.
Everyone should watch ‘Brexit: the movie’ on Youtube it’s enlightening and informative
Thanks for organising this fascinating discussion. It certainly clarified our thoughts it was brilliantly chaired, and the input from Anand Menon was most helpful.
Thanks to Iain and Simon for organising this debate; Anand Menon was an excellent commentator who gave really balanced, informative and impartial details (unlike what we read in the press and hear from campaigners for each side). The evening has helped me to decide which way to vote on 23rd June.
As a very interested attendee from the other side of the County, may I thank the kind folk of Chedworth for their welcome and their good humour, and the panellists for their time and trouble too. A very enjoyable evening.
