Our heritage,
today and tomorrow…
Friends of St Andrew’s church (FoStA) was set up in February 2013 to ensure that both the fabric of this beautiful and ancient church is maintained and that it continues to play a meaningful and relevant role in the life of our community. The aims are to
- provide additional income for the church
- hold events to help support its work
- bring members of the community together in different ways
- welcome newcomers to the Benefice
In doing so, FoStA will use its links with other established village and local organisations.
It is hoped that everyone in the village, and many further afield, will become a Friend of St Andrew’s as it will help us put on activities and events with a broad appeal. There is no requirement to be a ‘churchgoer’ – this is about strengthening links with our community, making new friends, developing new interests and being part of the heartbeat of the locality. FoStA welcomes past, present and future residents as well as anyone with an interest in the Cotswolds or country churches, wherever they may live.
To join, please print out and complete the form with your annual donation (the suggested level is from just £1.00 per month, 50p for under 18’s). You might also consider volunteering a limited amount of your time to help on the committee or with FoStA activities – perhaps hosting or assisting in running events or helping with routine activities such as cleaning or flower arranging.
