Fastershire/Gigaclear – 2 more milestones

IMG_06002 more milestones have been achieved in the Fastershire/Gigaclear project bringing ultrafast broadband to our community.

1. The first customer in Phase 1 of the project – Chedworth are in Phase 2 – has gone live, www.gigaclear.com/ultrafast-dragon-seen-in-gloucestershire.
2. Yesterday (Tuesday)
Chedworth’s Gigaclear cabinet was put in place near the Village Hall – on schedule.

The next major step, at some point in the New Year, will be to connect fibre into the cabinet from elsewhere in Gigaclear’s system. After that the village will start to be connected up i.e. connections to individual houses.
