Chedworth & District Horticultural Society – 140th Anniversary Flower and Vegetable Photograph Competition
2020 has been a great year for flower and vegetable growing, with many people spending more time in their gardens than ever. Unfortunately, we are unable to run the Chedworth & District Horticultural Society 2020 Show in August.
Instead, to celebrate our 140th anniversary, we are encouraging you to submit photographs as entries to two classes, to showcase your produce and artistic skills!
“Happy Birthday “. An arrangement of flowers to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the Chedworth & District Horticultural Society. Any shape or size arrangement containing any number of your favourite flowers.
Vegetables and Fruit
A basket, trug or tray of vegetables and fruit, showing the produce which is helping you to survive the pandemic and lockdown. Any number and type of vegetables and fruit from your garden.
Entries to be uploaded from 1 August 2020 using the entry form below.
Entries may be submitted by residents of the parishes of Chedworth, Yanworth with Stowell, Coln Rogers and Coln St Dennis; from other families with children at Chedworth School and Pre-School; as well as from residents of adjoining parishes who are fully paid up members of the Society.
Two entries per class per person. No entry fees.
All entries to be uploaded by 12 noon on Friday 21 August 2020.
By entering, you agree to your name appearing on the website and on other village media.
Judging: Judging will be by the Committee.
Results: will be announced on the website at 12 noon on Saturday 22 August 2020.
Prizes: £70 voucher for a meal at the Seven Tuns for each class winner.
